→Building for the future

The club is the first step, not the plan.

While we get the first club open, we’re also building the things that have to last: a name children are proud of, and a model other towns can pick up and use.

01Brand development

A name the children will want to wear.

For now our mark is a single red figure: one child, counted. It works for a document like this one. It isn’t yet something a seven-year-old would want on a T-shirt, a cabin door or a football shirt.

So we’re developing the brand properly, for the children first and the grown-ups second. We’ve drawn 76 logo concepts in three rounds, from loud and colourful to quiet and refined. When the club opens, we’d like the children to help choose.

Tap any concept to open its full page: the mark, its colours, and how it looks on real things. Nothing here is final.

All 76 concepts.

Round 1Colour and craft26 concepts

Made with the children in mind: Latin American craft, colour and light. Papel picado, mola, talavera, a torogoz, crayons and cabins.

Round 2Cool and fun25 concepts

Something a teenager would actually wear. Streetwear labels, record sleeves, game studios, stickers.

Round 3Quiet and refined25 concepts

The grown-up end: restraint, careful letterforms, the calm of a design studio.

02What we’re building toward

One club that works, then a way to make more.

A model anyone can copy
Every cost, every mistake and every lesson from the pilot gets written down and shared, so the next town can start faster than we did.
Filmed from day one
The build is on video from the first visit. Anyone can follow along, and later, anyone can learn from it.
Food that grows with the children
The old pool becomes a sunken garden. In Peru we designed a full food forest; here we start small and see what grows.
More towns, when it works
Not before. One working club gives funders, governments and partners something real to visit, and a reason to say yes to the next.
03What won’t change

Whatever the logo, whatever the town.

Children stay with their families.
The club and the support exist to keep a child at home, not to replace it.
Nothing permanent until we know what works.
Light, temporary and easy to change.
We never publish where children are.
No addresses, no maps, no faces without consent.
Every cost gets reported.
Funders see where every dollar went.
